These social service activities were started in the year 2014 according to the concept of ‘Temple to the Village’. Starting with a single wheelchair donated by Mr.Gamini Dias, the base now has 45 wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, water & Air mattress for all patients. This equipment will be provided free of cost and their needs under the refund basis method.
It is also special that all equipment was donated by the people of the area. Seeing the services rendered by this foundation, the devotees have been given many plots of land. (About 80 perches) All of that has already been distributed to the homeless people and houses have been built.
So far 40 houses with water and electricity have been donated. There are also a number of semi-constructed houses. Those facilities are also provided to those who do not have toilet facilities.

ශ්‍රී මහා විහාර සහනසේවා පදනම, පාදුක්ක.
2014 වසරේ දී “පංසලෙන් ගමට” යන සංකල්පයට අනුව මෙම සමාජ සේවා කටයුතු ආරම්භ කරන ලදි. ගාමිණී ඩයස් මහතා පරිත්‍යාග කරන ලඳ එක් රෝද පුටුවකින් ආරම්භ කරන ලඳ මෙම පදමන සතුව මේ වනවට රෝදපුටු 45ක් කිහිලිකරු, අත්වාරු, වෝකර්, සැරයටි සහ අඳ සැරයටි, Water මෙට්ට Air මෙට්ට සහ සියලු පහසුකම් වලින් යුත් රෝගීන්ට අවශ්‍ය කරන ලඳ ඇඳක් ද පදනම සතුව ඇත. මේ සියලු උපකරන අවශ්‍යයතා ඇති අයට නොමිලයේ ලබා දෙන අතර අවශ්‍යතා අවසන් වූ පසු නැවත ලබා දීමේ පදනම මත ලබාදෙනු ඇත.
මෙම සියලු උපකරණ ප්‍රදේශවාසී පිංවතුන් ලබාදුන් උපකරණ වීම ද විශේෂවේ. මෙම පදනම මගින් සිදුකරණු ලබන සේවාවන් දුටු පිං කැමති පිංවතුන් ඉඩම් කැබලි රාශියක් ලබා දී ඇත. (පර්චස් 80ක් පමණ) ඒ සියල්ලක්ම මේ වන විටත් බිම් අගලක් ගෙයක් දොරක් නැති ජනතාවට බෙදා දී නිවෙස් ද තනා දී ඇත.
මෙමගින් මේ වන විට ජලය විදුලිය සහිත අංගසම්පූර්ණ නිවෙස් 40ක් සාදා පරිත්‍යාග කොට ඇත. අර්ධ වශයෙන් ඉදිකරණ ලඳ නිවාස ද රාශියක් ඇත. වැසිකිළි කැසිකිළි පහසුකම් නොමැති අයට එම පහසුකම් ද සපයා දී ඇත.
වාර්ෂිකව අක්ෂි සායන පවත්වා ඇස්කණ්නාඩි ලබාදීම ඇසේ සුද මතු වූ අයගේ සුද ඉවත් කොට අක්ෂි කාච ලබා දීම (මේ වන විට 50දෙනෙකුට පමණ) HelpAge ආයතනය සම්බන්ධ කරගෙන ඔවුන්ගේ අනුග්‍රහයෙන් මෙය සිදුකරන ලදි. මීට අමතරව…
